In plain words

  • LOVIJO lets you create event pages, share them by link or QR code, collect RSVPs and gather guest photos. It is free to use at the moment.
  • You own your content. You give us permission to host and show it so the service can work.
  • Be lawful and respectful. No abuse, scams, spam, or content you have no right to share.
  • If you collect guest information, you are responsible for using it properly and keeping it safe.
  • Download what you need to keep, and you can delete your account at any time.

This summary is a convenience. The full text below is what applies.

1About these Terms

These Terms are an agreement between you and APIUSARTECH Digital Solutions (“LOVIJO”, “we”, “us”), the operator of the LOVIJO website and service. By creating an account, publishing an event or using an event page, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use LOVIJO.

Two kinds of people use LOVIJO. Organisers have an account and create event pages. Guests visit event pages, RSVP and may add photos, messages and comments. Sections 6 and 7 apply to guests as well.

2The service

LOVIJO lets organisers build an event website from a template, share it with a link or QR code, publish a programme and announcements, collect RSVPs, and host a gallery, guestbook and guest photos.

LOVIJO is free to use at the moment. Features may change, be added or be removed. If we introduce paid features, we will tell you before anything is charged, and you will not be billed for anything you did not agree to.

3Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has used it.
  • One account is for one person or organisation. Do not create accounts in bulk or by automated means.

4Your content

You own what you upload and write. You give LOVIJO a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, resize, process and display your content only as needed to run and improve the service. This includes creating smaller versions of photos, showing your event page, producing QR codes and access cards, and link previews when your page is shared. The licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies that remain briefly in backups.

You promise that you have the right to share everything you publish, including photos, names, music, logos and text, and that it does not break the law or anyone else’s rights. Do not upload photos of people who would object, and take extra care with images of children.

5Guest information and your duties as organiser

When your event page collects information from guests, you decide what to ask and why. You are responsible for handling it lawfully, including under data protection laws such as the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. In particular you must:

  • ask only for what you need, and be open with guests about how you will use it;
  • use RSVP details only for your event, and not for unrelated marketing, selling or spam;
  • keep exports, spreadsheets and downloaded photos secure and delete them when you no longer need them;
  • use guest photos you download only in ways guests would reasonably expect, and remove a photo if a guest asks; and
  • respond properly to guests who ask about or want to remove their information.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information on your behalf.

6Guests

  • Give your real name and truthful details when you RSVP.
  • Your access code is personal. Do not share it, and do not pretend to be another guest.
  • Photos, messages and comments you add must follow Section 7. Organisers may hide or delete anything on their event page.
  • Only upload photos you took or have permission to share.
  • If you share an internet connection with another guest, the page may briefly show their name. Use your own access code to use your own pass, and do not act in their name.

7Acceptable use

You must not use LOVIJO to:

  • break the law, or help anyone else to do so;
  • harass, threaten, abuse, defame or discriminate against anyone, or spread hate;
  • share sexually explicit material, or anything that exploits or endangers children (we report this to the authorities);
  • post scams, phishing, fake fundraising, misleading events or impersonate another person or organisation;
  • infringe copyright, trademarks, privacy or other rights;
  • send spam or unsolicited marketing, including to people whose details came from an event page;
  • upload malware, probe or attack the service, bypass limits or security, or scrape it at scale; or
  • collect more personal information than you need, or use it in ways guests did not expect.

8Reporting content and our response

If you see content that breaks these Terms, tell us through the Contact page with the event link and what is wrong. For copyright complaints, include what work you say is copied and where, your contact details, and a statement that you are the owner or authorised to act for them.

We may remove or disable content, hide an event page, or suspend an account that breaks these Terms or that we reasonably believe is unlawful or harmful. Where practical we will tell the account owner why and give a chance to respond. If you think we made a mistake, contact us and we will review it.

9Our intellectual property

The LOVIJO name, logo, templates, designs and software belong to APIUSARTECH Digital Solutions or its licensors. We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the templates for your own events. You may not copy, resell, re-license or reverse engineer them or the service, or remove ownership notices.

10Availability and your backups

We work hard to keep LOVIJO running, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”. There may be interruptions for maintenance or for reasons outside our control, and we cannot promise that it will always be error-free or that nothing will ever be lost.

Please do not rely on LOVIJO as your only copy of anything important. Export your RSVPs and download photos you want to keep, especially before and after your event.

11Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. This permanently removes your events and their data, and cannot be undone.

We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if we are required to by law, if your use puts the service or other people at risk, or if we stop providing LOVIJO (in which case we will give reasonable notice where we can). Sections that by their nature should survive, such as Sections 4, 9, 12, 13 and 14, continue after your access ends.

12Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, LOVIJO and APIUSARTECH Digital Solutions are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, data, goodwill or opportunity, or for anything caused by content posted by organisers or guests, disputes between organisers and guests, or events that are organised through the service.

Because the service is free at the moment, our total liability for any claim connected with LOVIJO is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. You may also have consumer rights that these Terms cannot remove.

13Your responsibility for claims

You agree to cover reasonable losses and costs we suffer because of a claim by someone else that arises from content you published, from your breach of these Terms, or from how you used guest information.

14Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If we have a disagreement, please contact us first so we can try to settle it informally. If that does not work, the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.

15Changes and general terms

We may update these Terms as the service or the law changes. We will change the date at the top, and for important changes we will give clearer notice, such as a message on the website or an email to organisers. If you keep using LOVIJO after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we do not give it up. You may not transfer your account to someone else; we may transfer LOVIJO to a successor who agrees to these Terms. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about LOVIJO.
